Happy Easter!

This week we had a fun time making Easter eg wreaths.  Mrs. Krahn found the idea on Pinterest.  We like looking at all the art she collects.  Our art activity was supposed to be painting with real flowers. However, when we painted with real flowers only the centers showed up. Then we decided to paint flowers instead of painting with flowers.  We also had to trace 10 Easter eggs and cut them out.
We also started reading a new novel called Hoot, by Carl Hiaasen.  We have only read two chapters but we are curious about the barefooted boy.  In math, we learned about arrays, fractions and measurement. We were a very busy group of learners.
We are excited about our litterless lunch challenge that starts next Monday. We think we will be the best class in school. Many of us already bring a litterless lunch to school. If you would like to see an example of a litterless lunch look at our sustainable development page.  We are having this challenge to celebrate Earth Day.
