Building bridges

Today we built bridges.  First we had to put pizza boxes together and then paint them to look like a rainforest in Mexico.  When we were finished painting we designed our bridge and made a blueprint. We were able to choose our materials. We had clay, plasticine, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, elastics, paper clips, cardboard, and paper.  We thought about balance and strength and which shapes we should use to build our foundation. We worked hard and many times we said it was a challenging but fun!
